[edit]The Sunyani Domestic Airport is served by the Kotoka International Airport at Accra, and there are daily domestic flights to Sunyani. The airport is about five minutes' drive to the University of Energy and Natural Resources. As of Feb 2026, Passion Air is the airline with the most flight times to Sunyani from Accra.

[edit]There are buses at the TroTro stations at Kwame Nkrumah Circle (VIP Station) and Asafo in Kumasi. It will cost you roughly GH₵50 to get to Sunyani from Kumasi.
Get around
[edit]Sunyani seems to have been designed by very thoughtful town planners; the layout of the main roads makes sense and it's easy to get your bearings. Shared taxis trawl back and forth along most major streets and are a fast and inexpensive way to move around town.
