[edit]Surulere is a residential area in Lagos State. As of the 2006 population census, Surulere recorded a total population count of 692,500 and a population density of 21,864 inhabitants per square kilometre.
Climate
[edit]The wet season is heavy while the dry season is sometimes cloudy, and it is hot and the weather is harsh all year round.
Get in
[edit]You can enter into Surulere by bus from Ikeja under bridge to Yaba phase 2, when you get there, bike to Itire road, Surulere.
From Ikeja under bridge to Yaba will cost about you ₦200. Bike from Yaba to Surulere will cost you ₦200 or more depending on some minor issues.
Get around
[edit]You can get around in Surulere by also boarding the popular Lagos bus, yellow buses are known as 'Danfo', these buses can be found at any bus stop, all you need to do is to tell the driver you are going to Surulere and they will drop you there.
Another way to get around is via the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) buses which is a more advanced and comfortable way to get around, coupled with the fact that they have got their own special lane and route which means they cannot be affected by traffic jam.
Another way to get around is also via popular car-hailing transportation systems like Uber, Bolt, it is a very comfortable system of getting around.
