[edit]Around 650 km from Magadan on the Kolyma Highway, it is also serviced by an airport.
Get around
[edit]The city can be covered on foot. There are bus services to nearby towns and even to Magadan, though not daily.

[edit]The park is relatively attractive. The main street has the usual selection of concrete buildings and several mining company headquarters. About four blocks from the hotel is a building with the front of a plane sticking out of the second story: it houses an aviation youth club.

[edit]There is a hotel above the bus station next to the main turnoff for the town (after the bridge, if going towards Magadan). For 400 руб a night, you get a room with a bed, a TV with 3 channels, and one shared bathroom with optional plumbing.

[edit]If hitchhiking, it is necessary to get a short lift about 4 km down the road, beyond the final junction with an outlying village. This applies in both directions.
