Car-dependent country?

- I don't have any in-depth insights into the society, but I've been to Vietnam. "Car-dependent" seems a bit off, and I wouldn't limit "motorcycle-dependent" to some cities. These days, motorized scooters are the most common means of transportation. It is not common to personally own a car, but hiring a driver is the only option to get to some places comfortably. - Yes, this sounds accurate according to my experience as a tourist. Additionally, it is somewhat common to rent a scooter and ride yourself even as a tourist (even though strictly speaking, the legal driving license situation is questionable).
