[edit]Many agencies offer a Sunday daytrip from Sucre, leaving at around 08:00, at Bs. 30. Public transport is frequent and cheaper (Bs. 10 one way).

- On the way from Sucre there is a statue of dancing Jesus.
- Occasional exhibitions and live artistic performances (i.e. diablada from Oruro) in Samay Wasi cultural space and restaurant.
- Status in main square, depicting local people and cannibalism tradition in history.
Do
[edit]Once a year, in March, there is town fiesta - a bustling event (with dances and traditional wrestling) accompanying Sunday market. If you are on time, take a part.
Buy
[edit]The market is an outstanding place to see and buy local textiles and other handicraft items. A section of the market deals not in cash but in barter.
Eat
[edit]- Samay Wasi (Three or four blocks from the main plaza, ask people). Locals may call the place cafe, but there's someting to eat there too, and there are artistic exhibitions and performances in the place.
