Travel Warning WARNING: Military strikes from the US/Israel–Iran conflict have affected various parts of the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, and British bases on Cyprus. Strikes have significantly disrupted travel options in the region with many airports closed and various airspaces restricted. In some cases, civilian facilities like airports and tourist attractions are targeted by airstrikes. As of 5 March 2026, some airspaces have been reopened for evacuation flights. You might receive information from your airline if you booked a flight before the conflict.

Check with government authorities for up-to-date safety information and with your airline if your travel plans involve travelling through the Gulf States. Avoid travel to or via the region where possible. See war zone safety for more safety information, particularly under airstrikes and explosions.
