Tremp is the largest town in the Pallars Jussà region of Catalonia, serves as a gateway to the Pyrenees and the scenic Pallars region. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, and reservoirs, it offers a mix of natural beauty and historical heritage. The town has a charming old quarter, featuring the Church of Santa Maria and remnants of medieval walls. - TThe Festa Major de Tremp is celebrated around September 8, the feast day of the Virgin Mary of Valldeflors. During the days of the Festa Major, popular cultural events are held such as the dance of our giants, Faciet and Bepeta. The dance of the beast of the Colla de Diables Lo Peirot, Cremablat, who makes a floral offering to the Virgin on September 8. AT night there are concerts and dancing
