[edit]- 1 Tulcea Airport (Aeroportul Delta Dunării Tulcea). Flights are limited to general aviation, very few seasonal charters and some private jets. No scheduled flights.
By bus
[edit]The city is an approximately two-hour minibus ride away from Constanta bus station.
By train
[edit]Train services are rather slow, there's several daily trains from Medgidia, taking three hours. At Medgidia it's possible to connect with Intercity trains from Constanta and Bucharest.

[edit]At the Tulcean riverside promenade there is an information centre on the Danube Delta-ecosystem, which is a UNESCO World Heritage-site. The information centre has with friendly, English-speaking staff.
- 1 Tulcea Art Museum (Muzeul de Artă din Tulcea), Strada Grigore Antipa 2.
- 2 Azizyie Mosque (Moscheea Azizyie), Strada 14 Noiembrie. Built in 1863, during the reign of Sultan Abdülaziz, to whom it is named for. It's among the largest mosques built by the Ottoman Empire in Dobruja region.
- 3 St. Nicholas Cathedral (Catedrala Sf. Nicolae), Strada Progresului 37.
