Was lightly involved back when this was part of Wikitravel, a few years ago.
I'm a native Nova Scotian who just keeps moving further west, first to Saskatchewan, then to the south-central interior of British Columbia where I can indulge in all my post-retirement activities such as mountaineering, back country skiing, hiking, canoeing, traveling and playing with grandchildren.
Travel since retirement has featured many excursions around the American Southwest, and trips to New Zealand, the UK and Nepal, the latter being the recent fulfillment of a long-standing desire to see the Himalayas. While in Nepal, we hiked the Manaslu and Annapurna trails and spent some time in Pokhara and Kathmandu, leaving just before the November 2013 elections.
As with so many people.....too many places to visit, so little time....
