    Hai! I'm NasiLemakAddict,

Like my name I'm addicted to nasi lemak - no nasi lemak no life.

I usually focus on Asia-related topics, mainly Southeast Asia & East Asia, typically making big changes to articles (hundred to thousand of bytes) - before this I used to edit anonymously.

Feel free to contact me on my talk page!

    Why I started editing?

    [edit]

Since 2021, I began embarking on a personal project - writing a story which is basically MC travelling to every country in the world. Because of this I need to do enormous research, and staple pages include: Google Maps + Translate, Xinhua Dictionary Baidu Hanyu Dictionary, and of course Wikipedia + Wikivoyage. More often than not I found out that even though Wikipedia has a lot of info, it also has a lot less info especially when it comes to non-Western subjects, that sources in other languages have. Come 2025, I finally snapped, and here I am. (The info gap at Wikivoyage is even bigger)

Currently MC is in South Korea, so expect higher-than-usual edits on all things Korea. I think my IP address reflected this on Wikipedia.

    On Wikivoyage

    [edit]

Expect me to put lots of info here, especially since it is not Wikipedia, which prefers reputable source. Although Wikivoyage rarely needs to cite sources, coming from someone who needs to spend hours upon hours researching a place, I have a pretty big collection of links (mainly blogs). Maybe I will put what I find up somewhere here.

Also, Wikivoyage has a lot of pages where the info is dated anywhere between 2-10 years ago. It is best for travel guides to have the latest info because people actually use them on the go. I know because I experienced this firsthand.

    Userboxes

    [edit]

Since Wikivoyage do not have Wikipedia userboxes, well...
