[edit | edit source]Vila Ulongwe is the site of the Hefsiba Christian Theological College, an accredited Bible training school founded in 1994 originally by the Reformed Church in Mozambique. According to their website: "Not only do students here receive Bible and theological training but also develop the ability to write and speak English, to better their knowledge of the Portuguese language, to become computer literate, to turn out as community development facilitators and able to lead the battle against HIV/AIDS. In general the leadership style conveyed is that of servant hood, with Christian compassion towards the poor and the needy."
