    Virac is the largest town in Catanduanes, an island province of the Philippines, the provincial capital, and the island's main transport hub.

    • 1 Virac Port, Port Road. Open 24 hours.
      • Peñafrancia shipping lines has daily ferry service to and from Tabaco, Albay from the Virac town center port.
      • One-way fares are from ₱240 non-AC, ₱290 A/C. The trip takes 3½ hours.
      • From Tabaco you can get a bus to Manila. Or a van to Legazpi City, ₱40 or Naga, ₱180.

    There is also a fast ferry from San Andres port (17 km from Virac) to Tabaco which takes 1 hour and costs ₱330 for AC class.
