A small volunteer-run ski area on the northeastern flank of Badger Mountain, with one T-bar, two rope tows, and sledding. The resort has a relatively low elevation, of 3,145 ft (959 m), and does not usually receive adequate snow until January. The ski area has one small lodge. Badger Mt. advertises the "Lowest Priced Lift Ticket in North America". $15.
- 2 Daroga State Park, 1 S Daroga Park Ln, Orondo (on Lake Entiat), ☏ +1 509-784-0229. A 127-acre camping park with 1.5 miles of Columbia River shoreline on the elevated edge of the desert "scablands." The park features camping activities and water-sport access in a unique and beautiful outdoor environment. Lots of sunshine combine with water activities to make this desert park a delight to visitors.
