Weiyuan County is a county in Sichuan, under the jurisdiction of Neijiang city. It features a mix of rolling hills, ancient villages, fruit orchards, and scenic nature typical of the southern Sichuan Basin. Weiyuan is particularly known for its fig production and a relatively undeveloped, local travel experience.

The county’s history includes ancient settlements and agricultural development. It is less visited than Sichuan’s famous cities, but offers a slower pace and authentic local life.
The county seat is **Yanling Town** (严陵镇), where most services, transport, and administration are located.
