    [edit]

Winterberg is a very popular ski resort, particularly with the Dutch.

    Get in

    [edit]

Direct trains run to 1 Winterberg Station from Dortmund approximately once every hour during the day, the journey taking around 90 minutes. The second half of the journey allows for some great views of the Hochsauerland as you ascend to Winterberg, which is the end of the line.
The station was rebuild in 2014 and offers an accessible platform and direct transfer to buses.
