    • 1 Miyagi Zao Kokeshi Museum (みやぎ蔵王こけし館). Features over 5500 kokeshi (simple wooden dolls with no arms or legs), making it the largest kokeshi museum in Japan. It features the local Togatta Kokeshi along with all other varieties. Artisans also work here, so it's possible to watch them make kokeshi when they are present.
    • 2 Okama Crater (御釜). Named Okama after local cooking pots, it's known for its striking blue-green caldera lake.
