[edit]Zirakpur falls on the intersection of Delhi-Chandigarh highway, Shimla-Delhi highway and Patiala-Chandigarh highway, about 3 km before Chandigarh when coming from Delhi. All roadway buses stop here as well as the Volvo buses running on that route. Buses coming from Patiala or Rajpura also stop here. Local as well as mini AC CTU buses from Chandigarh ISBT 43 and ISBT 17 also operate between Chandigarh and Zirakpur. Auto rickshaws on sharing basis also ply the Zirakpur Chandigarh Road.
