[edit]Bridgewater is centrally located at the interchange of Interstate 495 and Route 24. Routes 104, and 18 intersect at the town's center. East Bridgewater is directly on Route 18.

[edit]- 1 Bridgewater State University, 31 Summer St, ☏ +1 508-531-1000. A 235-acre college campus right in the center of town, it was founded in 1840 by Horace Mann as one of America's first teacher preparation institutions. BSC sports teams (the Bears) provide sports fans with games to watch.
- 2 Reverend James Keith Parsonage (Keith House), 199 River St (West Bridgewater), ☏ +1 508-559-1510. By appointment. Built in approximately 1662, this is perhaps the oldest remaining parsonage in the United States. Today it operates as a museum and is owned by the Old Bridgewater Historical Society.
- 3 Robbins Pond (East Bridgewater). Largest body of water in town.

[edit]- 1 East Bridgewater Cinemas (South Shore Cinemas), 225 Bedford St (East Bridgewater), ☏ +1 508 378-3010. Showings on weekdays start at 4PM and earlier on weekends. The theater is tiny, with five rooms. However, tickets are cheap, so this is a great choice when you want to see a movie but are short on funds and do not care about high-end visual and audio equipment, size, or seating.
- Olde Scotland Links, 695 Pine Street, ☏ +1 508-279-3344. An 18-hole links-style championship public course. Par 72, 5000-6800 yards, Black rating/slope 72.6/126. Host and founding club of the quintennial Master's by Night tournament.
- Riverbend Country Club, 250 East Center St, ☏ +1 508 580-3673. Riverbend Country Club is West Bridgewater's premier golf course. Specials include all you can play after 5PM on week nights. It is an 18-hole course which plays narrow on the front 9, but opens up on the back. Weekday $22.

- Daybreak Family Restaurant, 337 W Center St, ☏ +1 508 583-5341. 5AM - 2PM. A popular weekend spot for a fast delicious breakfast. Breakfast is served all day and there is a wide range of items to choose from. The most popular choices include eggs benedict and breakfast sandwiches. Although the restaurant is pretty small, they keep customers moving in and out so the waiting time is usually under 15 minutes. $4-12.
- Emma's Pub and Pizza, 1420 Pleasant Street (Route 104), ☏ +1 508 697-8815. 11AM-10PM. Drink specials and a large menu of reasonably priced appetizers and entrees keep Emma's busy Monday through Friday. There is a spacious outdoor deck, 40-seat bar, and large dining area. There most popular item is the 99-cent cheese pizza which is served every Wednesday from 8:30 to 10:30PM. The atmosphere Emma's provides is suitable for all. $10-30.
- 1 Mockingbird Restaurant & Martini Lounge, 838 N Bedford St (East Bridgewater), ☏ +1 508 378-4911. W Th 4:30-9PM, F Sa 4:30-10PM, Su 4-9PM. If you’re in the mood for Italian food (and/or martinis), this is the place to go in East Bridgewater. It has a slightly more formal atmosphere than Pier 18 but its prices are higher. Wedding venue. $20-45.
