    Casma is a city in the Northern Coast of Peru.

    There are frequent buses on the Panamerican highway, as well as colectivos, often old American cars for 6 people between Chimbote and Casma. There are day buses from Casma via the Callán Pass & Pariacoto to Huaraz, and mainly night buses via Pativilca to Huaraz. Further south, transport may be offered from Barranca and Supe to Caral.

    Thirteen towers of Chanquillo
    • Max Uhle Museum & Archaeological site of Cerro (Sechin, 5 km SE of Casma).
    • 1 Chanquillo. An archaeological site dated to the 4th century BC, from the Casma–Sechin culture. The complex is believed to have functioned as a solar observatory and fortified temple.
