    • 1 Fügen Castle (Schloss Fügen, Bubenburg). The castle is a four-wing building with two turrets and a red marble arched portal that enclose a spacious courtyard. The garden is bordered by a wall with three roundels. Domed turrets are attached to the northern corners of the roof. The interior design (ceilings, stairs, doors) is in the 17th-century style. The castle chapel dates from 1681, and the carved image of Mariahilf that can be seen here is famous. The oldest parts of the castle were built around 1550. It is now used for small residential communities for children and young people who cannot live at home. Bubenburg (Q16102023) on Wikidata
    • 2 FeuerWerk (FireWorks), Binderholz Str. 49, 6263 Fügen, +43 5288 60111466. M-F 09:00-16:00. Sawmill and biomass power station open to visitors. There are guided tours through the world of pine wood, but there are also audio guides in English available. A good activity for bad weather days. Only open when the sawmill is in operation, so closed on weekends and holidays.
    • 3 Fügen Parish Church (Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt). The Gothic church building of Romanesque origins has a north tower and is surrounded by a cemetery. Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt (Q38065019) on Wikidata
    • Fügen Local History Museum (Heimatmuseum Fügen), Hochfügener Str. 7, +43 5288 62201.
    • 4 Schleierwasserfall (Schleier waterfall). 24/7. With 91 m the tallest waterfall in the Ziller valley, partially frozen in winter. It's quite an impressive sight, and in summer a popular bathing spot. It's about a 40-minute walk from Hart im Zillertal or Kapfing, and about 1.5 hours from Fügen. Free.
