Holmes Chapel, until 1974 known as Church Holme, is a village in Cheshire. It's only five miles west of the frontier of the known universe, thanks to Jodrell Bank radio telescope. With a population of 6000, Holmes Chapel is mainly a commuter town for the galaxy known as Greater Manchester.

[edit]- 1 St Luke's Church, London Road. The present church originated about 1430 as a timber-framed building with a Perpendicular sandstone west tower.
- 2 Twemlow Viaduct. 1841 viaduct was designed for the Manchester and Birmingham Railway Company by George W. Buck.

Dane Meadow is a 7-hectare area of land to the north of Holmes Chapel within the Dane Valley. It is a natural environment for walking dogs and casual walkers. The roadway provides access for disabled vehicles and a limited parking area near the river.
