Jhalong (Nepali: झोलोङ Jholoṅ, Bengali: ঝালং Jhālaṁ), also spelt Jholong or Jholung, is a village along the Jaldhaka River, in the Kalimpong district of West Bengal, near the border to Bhutan. It is popular among bird lovers, as it is home to a varied collection of hill birds as well as migratory waterfowl.

[edit]Jhalong is isolated from the rest of Kalimpong by road, and is accessible only from Malbazar in Jalpaiguri. From Malbazar, take NH 7 up to the Chapramari forest, then take a spur road to the left.
