Template:Bannière page Template:Info lac Lake mifi is a lake located in the West Region of Cameroon, in the Mifi Department, near the village of Banéfo-Mifi, about 15 km north of Bafoussam.
Understand
[edit]Lake Banefo-Mifi is a natural volcanic lake formed in a depression surrounded by fertile hills. It is an important resource for the local population, used for small-scale fishing, irrigation farming, and local tourism.
Get in
[edit]From Bafoussam, the lake can be reached by a secondary road toward the village of Banéfo-Mifi (about 30 minutes by car). Motorcycle taxis operate between Bafoussam and Banéfo.
Get around
[edit]Travel around the lake is on foot or by motorcycle. There are no paved roads, but rural tracks make it possible to go around it.
