    Musi (known natively as Basé Musi or Miliang Musai), also known as Sekayu, is a language spoken predominantly by the Musi people, native to the Musi regions of Musi Banyuasin—Musi Rawas—North Musi Rawas located in the southeastern part of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. The sister languages of Musi are including the Lematang and Palembang.

    Historically, Musi language written using its own native script known as the Musi script. But however, nowadays the Musi language speakers are commonly used the Latin script as the main writing system for Musi language.
