Ningi is the one out of the 20 local government areas and a town in northern part of Bauchi State, Nigeria. It boarded with Plateau State to the south and Kano State to the north, which has a linkage between Bauchi and Kano regions.

[edit]Historically, Ningi has been known as the residential area of Ningawa people, together with Hausa and Fulani communities are present. The region area is semi-savanna, surrounded with Rocky hills and the fertility of farmlands.

Ningi is a small town if compared with main city of the state, therefore it's unaccessible by air. The nearest airports are in Bauchi City and Kano State where travellers can continue by road using the above prescribed buses or shared taxis.
