    Parc de la Serralada de Marina is in Barcelona province of Catalonia in Spain. Surrounded by large urban centres, the park plays a fundamental role as a green, educational and leisure space within the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona.

    Situated in the Litoral mountain range, Serralada de Marina Park, with a surface area of ​​2,086 hectares (5,150 acres), is bordered to the east by the Besòs river and the Serra de Collserola Natural Park and to the north-east by Parc de la Serralada Litoral. It belongs to the counties of El Barcelonès, El Vallès Oriental, El Maresme and El Vallès Occidental.

    The Park Consortium covers an area of ​​3,032 hectares (7,490 acres). Geographically, the area corresponds to the southern end of the Marina mountain range, in the sector known as the Sierra de la Conreria. This range follows in parallel the outline of the Mediterranean coast, from south-west to north-east. The highest altitude of the mountain range is the hill of Galceran (485 m), which has an outstanding geographical, ecological, landscape and territorial importance due to its location between the Vallès plain and the coast line.

    The following roads cross the park, mainly north-south:

    • The B-500 crosses the park from Tiana to La Conreria (access to walking routes) to Martorelles.
    • The BV-5011 crosses the park from Badalona to collet de la Vallençana (access to walking routes) to Montcada.

    The park has mainly unpaved roads. Some of them allow cars. It is a small mountain range with almost no flat roads. Be careful with the climbs and descends in a car if you are not used to unpaved roads.
