Perinthalmanna , or Perintalmanna, is in Malappuram District, in the Malabar region in Kerala, India. Perintalmanna is known as the hospital city of Kerala.

[edit | edit source]Perinthalmanna is the former capital of Valluvanad kingdom. The word 'Perin Thallu' means 'big fight' in Malayalam language which is spoken by almost everyone here. Tamil and English are also understood to a certain extent.
