[edit]The village is approximately 16 km east of the regional capital Oviedo, and 16 km south of Gijón.
The nearest airport is the Asturias airport. From there take a bus to Oviedo and then a bus to Pola de Siero.
Pola de Siero is also served by trains, for example from Oviedo.

Several supermarkets cover the town. The biggest supermarket is Mercadona.

[edit]Café-Bar Dago offers a surprise bag of sandwiches on Too Good To Go for €2.99 (May 2025). The pickup is in the late afternoon.
