Central Váh region (Stredné Považie) and Lower Váh region (Dolné Považie) are tourist regions in Western Slovakia. Together with Upper Považie, the whole region is situated around the Váh river.

[edit]- Beckov castle ruins near Trenčín
- Kostolec hill archaeological site near Piešťany: The first settlements of this area are 24,000 years old, but the most important role of the place was during Grand Moravia.
- Leopoldov prison near Trnava is a 17th-century star-shaped fortress now a a high-security prison. Although parliament voted to close it, it hasn't happen yet. The building is not publicly accessible.
- Smolenice Castle near Trnava is a castle in the eastern slope of the Little Carpathians.
