Ritzville is a city in the Columbia River Plateau of Washington State.

[edit]Interstate 90 (I-90) passes just south of Ritzville, between Moses Lake and Spokane.
US Highway 395 (US-395) enters Ritzville from Pasco and the Tri-Cities to the south. It is concurrent with I-90 northeast to Spokane.

[edit]In the 1960s, Interstate 90 was constructed around the south end of town, replacing and rerouting highway traffic away from downtown. The town's arrested development preserved it and formed the core of the designated Ritzville Historic District in 1990.

- 2 Ritzville Public Library, 302 W Main Ave, ☏ +1 509-659-1222. One of the oldest continuous operating Carnegie Libraries left. It was built with money from the Carnegie Foundation Grant. While there check out the Kendrick Collection of historic photos taken by longtime photographer Burt Kendrick.
