- 1 Sunset Crater Volcano Visitor Center, 6082 Forest Service 545 Rd, ☏ +1 928-526-0502. Daily 9:30AM–4:30PM, but may be closed between noon–12:30PM. A visitor center with several exhibits about volcanoes and the landscape. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is temporarily closed.

[edit]There are several hiking trails within the park, but because of the park's fragile environment, backcountry hiking is strictly prohibited.

[edit]There are no restaurants, cafes, kiosks or anything like that in Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. All food needs to be brought with you.

[edit]There are no accommodation options within Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. However, there is a campground near the visitor center, but it is slightly outside the national monument.
