- Gonjiam is a small neighborhood included in Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. In Korea, the concepts of province, city, and eup exist, where Gwangju is included in the city and Gonjiam is included in the eup. Therefore, it is wrong to redirect. Xisuux (talk) 06:23, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- The watchword on this site is the traveller comes first. In no way is the content of Gwangju (Gyeonggi) overwhelmingly long. Instead, it needs a lot of filling out! Moreover, much of this article was duplicative of that one, anyway. Wikivoyage policy is not to divide city content into different districts until there's so much of it that it's very hard for a reader to take it all in - and even then, district articles cannot be created unilaterally, but only when a proposal is made on the talk page of the city in question and accepted by a consensus. - Have a look at Wikivoyage:Huge city article template:
- If a city is so big that we really can't keep all its information in one page, we break it up into districts, each of which has its own article -- see the district article template for starting those.
- So if the Gwangju article ever becomes so big that we really can't keep all its information in one page, feel free to propose a districting scheme at Talk:Gwangju (Gyeonggi). In the meantime, please improve the Gwangju article. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:39, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
