Page move from user space?

[edit]

While cleaning up technical errors on some of the pages listed in various subcategories of Category:Articles needing attention, I discovered a page containing a substantially complete start to a new article idling in user space.

This page has the __INDEX__ magic word and is therefore indexed by Google as if it were already a real wikivoyage article. Likewise, the usage of {{IsPartOf|Tucson}}{{outlinecity}}{{geo||}} and {{DEFAULTSORT:SaddleBrooke,AZ}} in the source.

The original author had also used the DISPLAYTITLE template and, previously, the REDIRECT template to try to alter the user page to appear in main space, both of which had failed.

I have no idea why they didn't simply request a page move.

What to do with this new found page?

    • Move it to Saddlebrooke and add more details, removing any listings already duplicated elsewhere or which are unsuitable for wv
    • Move it somewhere else
    • Plunder the content for use in Oracle or Tucson, or other nearby locations
    • Leave it where it is and ignore it.

My initial preference is to move it so as to allow anyone to be able to work on it and improve it. There's also a couple of listings/links to remove, but I am not going to do that while it still resides in user space.

The draft page currently resides at User:Sbariz.

This is a small retirement community near Tucson. Most of the listings in the draft article are in Tucson. It would be more straightforward to move any non-duplicated listings to Tucson, rather than creating a new article, given all of the problems listed above.
