Thari also known as Thari Mirwah, is a city in the district of Khairpur, in Northern Sindh.

The city lies along the N-5 National Highway and Mehran Highway, 400 km and a 6 hr 11 min drive from Karachi.

By plane

Sukkur Airport is about 80 km from Thari Mirwah, with domestic flights to Karachi.

By train

Thari is served by Mehrabpur & Setharja railway station.

By road

Thari is connected With Nawabshah by Mehran Highway and it takes 2 hours to reach Thari from Nawabshah. It takes 1 hour to reach Khairpur from Thari Mirwah; Mehrabpur and Ranipur are also connected to that route through linked roads.

Taxicabs are available to go in and near the city.

The city has a number of rich agricultural lands; however, its eastern side is part of the Thar Desert.

There is a classical building: the Government Boys Model High School, which is E-shaped.
