You should also make sure you understand our copyleft and policies and guidelines. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted.
If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub or on the talk page for the most appropriate article.
I'm interested to see that you've bookmarked our Project:Information for gay and lesbian travellers. What's your take? Also, we don't yet have a Project:Welcome, Memory Alphans (or whatever Mα people call themselves...). Wanna get it started? --(WT-en) Evan 19:40, 2 Jul 2005 (EDT)
Renton
[edit]I notice you started Renton (Washington) from your user page. While this may be a good way to start a page, especially in other wiki's, in Wikivoyage it has the disadvantage that it creates a walled garden of pages that are not linked into the overall geographic hierachy. This means they cannot be found by crawning the destinations of the wiki. I have changed the name to Renton, to follow our article naming conventions, and linked it from Washington. I also think that a link from an article about King County (when it is written) is a good idea too. -- (WT-en) Huttite 22:46, 2 Jul 2005 (EDT)
