It is about average-priced by Canadian standards.

    Welcome

    [edit]

Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit more pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 16:38, 15 July 2006 (EDT)

In particular, take a look at our naming conventions; we don't put "(location descriptions)" on unless necessary to disambiguate one place from another. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 16:45, 15 July 2006 (EDT)

    Russian Wikivoyage

    [edit]

Thanks for your intrest in helping us to start a Russian Wikivoyage. We need one huge obstacle to be addressed before we can get the version up and running. Would you please translate Project:Language.php into Russian by creating a Russian version here - Project:LanguageRu.php. You can also use the Project:LanguageFr.php or Project:LanguagePl.php for a refernce. If you need help feel free to ask. Also, instead of uploading images to this version of Wikivoyage would you please upload images to Wikivoyage Shared, which is our image depository. Thanks. -- (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 10:30, 24 July 2006 (EDT)

    Thailand

See Project:Sex tourism policy and its corresponding talk page. I haven't studied them, but you seem interested so I thought I'd point them out. -- (WT-en) Ilkirk 22:46, 25 July 2006 (EDT)

    St Petersburg

    [edit]

If you disagree with the outcome of a previous discussion, it would be a very good idea to reopen the discussion rather than acting unilaterally like this. I disagree strongly with the notion that the city in Russia is so much more famous than the resort destination in Florida that it should have the undisambiguated name for its article. A fact you would realize if you'd bothered to read the prior discussion on the subject. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 09:05, 27 July 2006 (EDT)

    Russian Wikivoyage revisited

    [edit]

Hey I realize you have not been active on Wikivoyage for a while, but as you are a member of the Russian Wikivoyage Expedition, I just wanted to let you know that the Russian version is soon to be up and running and we could use your help in getting content translated and ready! --(WT-en) Peter Talk 06:41, 29 July 2007 (EDT)
