Hello, Civilian Officer! Thank you for contributing to Wikivoyage, but please note that one or more of your recent edits has been reverted as it appeared to be an attempt to use this site to advertise or promote a business or service. Wikivoyage is created by travellers for travellers, and while business owners and employees are welcome to contribute, use of this site for promotional purposes is not allowed.
If you feel that your edits were incorrectly identified as promotional, please read Wikivoyage's guidelines on identifying promotional edits. If, after reading that guideline, you still feel your edits were incorrectly removed, please use this talk page or the talk page of the article where your edit was removed to explain why your change was not promotional. Note that it is very important that you discuss your proposed change before re-adding it since repeated promotional edits can lead to a temporary block of your account's ability to edit Wikivoyage, and in serious cases the business in question may be blacklisted from Wikivoyage. - Not touting sir, and it is not written in such a tone, unless it is because I used the word premier? Further, I am so far removed from Berea not having lived there for over 20 years living in Colombia, I have a knack for knowing what should or should not be there. The business I identified has been mentioned numerous times in local newspapers and the owner is now a tourism commissioner for Berea. This business and other businesses that are reflected by the Berea Tourism Commission are all welcome to participate in this article by the nature of Wikivoyage. - "Premier" was an issue, but I edited the listing in view of the guidelines at Wikivoyage:Don't tout, which affect people who don't intend to tout as well as those who do. I appreciate your edits, thanks.
- Best,

Did you copy and paste an article
[edit]And if so, where did you copy and paste Puerto Carreño from, in violation of wv:copyleft? You need to credit your source (a Wikipedia article?) on the article's talk page and eliminate the red links that will never get their own Wikivoyage article per wv:what is an article. Otherwise, we are likely to delete the article. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:11, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
- The Puerto Carreño Wikivoyage page was written, it is not a copy/paste job. There really is not that much content, the page is far from complete. I am an English professor and living in Puerto Carreño. I will eliminate the red links very soon. Currently they are there for other students to be inspired. We are all using Wikivoyage and Wikipedia as a content landmark. Civilian Officer (talk) 09:33, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, great. So please look at wv:what is an article to help determine which red links will never get an article on this site,
- and also please have a look at wv:small city article template and wv:welcome, Wikipedians. The External links section was removed per wv:external links.
- Please feel free to ask any questions you have after you've looked at these links.
- All the best,
- Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:36, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
