Aguçadoura is a town in the Douro Litoral, Norte region of Portugal. It lies on the Portuguese Coastal Way trail of the Camino de Santiago and has 4,200 inhabitants (2011).

The nearest airport is in Porto. From the airport, take the metro, change in Verdes and go to Povoa de Varzim, then take a bus to Aguçadoura.

Other airports around are in Vigo, Lisbon and Santiago de Compostela.

The town can be easily explored on foot.

Regarding e-hailing, Uber and Bolt cover the town and the region around.

There is an ATM about 500m from the beach.

At the town centre is the minimarket "Supermercado Frescos da Praia".
