Fão is a town in Portugal's Minho region on the Portuguese Coastal Way trail of the Camino de Santiago. The town lies at the Cávado River and has 3,100 inhabitants (2011).

[edit]The nearest airport is in Porto. From the airport take the metro, change in Verdes and go to Povoa de Varzim. From there take a bus to Fão.
Other airports around are in Vigo, Lisbon and Santiago de Compostela.
