Talk:Asunción Voyage Tips and guide

  • This article is currently marked for style fixes, but without explanations of what needs fixing. I'll go ahead and try to improve it (I was in Asuncion less than 3 month ago), comments welcome! Citizen428 (talk) 19:28, 21 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • It seems that some progress has been done. Still, a lot of info here refers to the whole country and not to Asuncion itself. That info could be reworked into the country article, but unfortunately I won't have the means to do it myself, so I'm marking it as needing attention. (WT-en) Rmx 16:39, 26 Dec 2005 (EST)
  • More care should be taken to avoid superlatives when discussing Asuncion. This should not be a travelogue but rather a factual article about the capital city. The use of exclamation points and parochial language should be minimized. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) 24.5.108.40 (talkcontribs)

Car rental listings

[edit]

Wikivoyage's policy is that car rental agencies shouldn't be listed if there are a lot of them in a given place, or if it is easy to find a rental car (see Wikivoyage:External links#What not to link to). It would appear that that is the case in Asunción, so I have cut the list of car rental agency listings from the article, and I put it below in case there is a good reason to put them back into the article:

    "Sleep" listings

    [edit]

There are a lot of listings now. If they're all needed, I think we should consider subdividing the existing sections of "Sleep". What would be the best way to subdivide within sections? By neighborhood, perhaps? Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:30, 5 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Let's subdivide them by neighbourhood then. I've added a Hostels section because of the great number of hostels that openned in the last years. —The preceding comment was added by Cmasi (talkcontribs)
Go ahead, as long as it's made clear to readers where the neighborhoods are, and thank you. Ikan Kekek (talk) 13:11, 5 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

    Embassies phone numbers

    [edit]

Can someone confirm or contradict the assumption that the dash / in the phone numbers show alternative numbers and not that a / has to be entered when dialling or is a method of separating a long single number? --Traveler100 (talk) 06:04, 25 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

    Destination of the Month?

    [edit]

We have had few major South American cities featured lately. Would any improvements be needed to make this article the Destination of the Month? /Yvwv (talk) 19:14, 7 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
