Districting
[edit]
- I can put some content and create a few of those village articles, but not to most of them. I have grouped the villages in areas of a radius of 10-20km, that are close enough to move from one to another and could consider a single travel destination. The regional articles are created just to keep having about 10 village articles in each group, there not much other use for them, we could have directly the village links to the main Evvia article. The villages on the coast, have a few travel attractions, however, the villages on the mainland, have just a couple of taverns and not much other attractions. I could make fewer village groups, maybe with a radius of 20-30km in each group and put the info in those articles, or I can put the info in those 4 regional articles and remove the red links, and only when the info will grow, we could separate the info to Village articles. - Since from what you're saying, there isn't much basis for articles on most of the villages, it seems to me, the best solution is to merge the content from the regional Evvia articles here and simply subdivide the villages into those different regions under "Cities" in this article. Keep in mind that the usual 9-city rule doesn't apply to bottom-level regional articles, but subdivision within the article is definitely helpful in this kind of situation. - I went ahead and removed the additional region layer. There are only five city articles here (one of which I created just now), so it's very far from needing a whole extra layer with 4 empty container pages just to organize them. Texugo (talk) 14:21, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

Name
[edit]Wikipedia uses Euboea, with an alternate modern spelling of Evia (see w:Euboea), so why are we using Evvia? Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:54, 13 July 2024 (UTC)
