You can check the original Wikivoyage article Here

For articles about Kuwait, please use the 12-hour clock to show times, e.g. 9AM-noon and 6PM-midnight.

Please show prices in this format: KD100, and not د.ك or KWD100.

    Please use American spelling.

For future reference the Project:CIA World Factbook 2002 import can be found at Talk:Kuwait/CIA World Factbook 2002 import.

According to Lonely Planet, if your passport has an Israeli stamp on it you will be denied entry into the country. If this can be verified someone can put it in the article.

    Visa

    [edit]

A good addition to this page will be a visa information page. Here is some information: http://www.kuwaitiah.net/visa1.html

Can people go out of the airport with the transit visa?

    Bans/Prohibited items/things

    [edit]

Is there any proper/recommended way to include bans (Like the one mentioned here) in an article? I think for a tourist, this is fairly important...

--(WT-en) RealUlli 07:55, 24 November 2010 (EST) Is there a military hospital in Kuwait?

Spammy Internet listings and poor formatting

    [edit]

I know the basic imperative is to plunge forward and fix everything, but I don't have the time or energy right now, so I just note that some of the listings under "Internet" seem spammy and possibly plagiarized and are improperly indented, creating weird gray text boxes. In addition, there is an endnote, and Wikivoyage does not use endnotes. Anyone who starts working on this will be doing a service to the readers and the site. Currency, time and spelling conventions

    [edit]

Below is a proposed infobox to let readers know which formatting conventions to use in Wikivoyage articles. Do you agree with these proposals? If you have direct knowledge of what is most commonly used in the country, please let us know. Ground Zero (talk) 04:44, 7 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

    Emergency number

    [edit]

w:112 (emergency telephone number) says 112 is used alongside 112 as emergency number. So is there another main emergency number? Our article is silent on the matter and mentions no emergency number, neither in Stay safe nor in Connect. WV:WYCSI says Stay safe, but assumes there is no general countrywide number. Is that the case for Kuwait? –LPfi (talk) 17:09, 12 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
