For articles about Lesotho, please use the 24-hour clock to show times, e.g. 09:00-12:00 and 18:00-00:00.

Please show prices in this format: M100 and not LSL100. (For a single unit of the currency, use L1.)

Please use British spelling (colour, travelled, centre, realise, analogue, programme, defence).

    &mdash

Uh, do "-" really need to be changed to &mdash ? It seems like a lot of effort that could be directed elsewhere... (WT-en) Majnoona

    Moving some stuff to Maseru

    [edit]

Ive noticed how alot of the stuff on here in the buy and eat sections are solely about Maseru, so I've decided to move them to the Maseru page.

    Regions

    [edit]

I have removed the regions section because there is absolutely nothing to do outside the main towns of each region, and the pages would be almost entirely pointless... they would just repeat all the information in each city page.

Also, the regions are more infact administrative districts rather than culturally independant regions.

    "Get around/By car"

    [edit]

What does "in a saloon" mean in this sentence?

"For the visitor, the only unsealed road you are likely to use is the last 20km to Malealea, which is easy in a saloon."

Is the implication that this road is so easy to drive that you could drive it drunk? Is this some local slang? Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:08, 29 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

I was wondering about the same thing, it's definitely not local slang Refiloehape (talk) 08:45, 14 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
Saloon is UK English for sedan. ϒpsilon (talk) 09:29, 14 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

    Sleep listings

    [edit]

There should be no specific sleep listings at the country level. I've moved these here, in case they are of use in city articles:

    • Semonkong Lodge situated on the Maletsunyane river and just one hour's walk from Maletsunyane Falls, offers accommodations, good food, horse treks, abseiling at the Falls.
    • Malealea has a lodge and pony trekking centre which offers good accommodation, foot or horse treks and 4x4 excursions.
    • Afriski. Stay in an imported alpine ski lodge.
    • Letloepe Lodge. Probably the nicest place in Qacha's Nek
    • 1 Maliba Mountain Lodge, +27 31 702-8791. Check-in: 14:00, check-out: 10:00. New 5 star luxury lodge situated in the Ts'ehlanyane National Park. Luxury suites, excellent food and a location like no other. Hiking and pony-trekking available.
    • Malealea Lodge — Lesotho Accommodation and Self Catering units. Pony-trekking, mountain biking, 4x4 route and scenic drives.
    • 2 Maliba River Lodge, +27 31 702-8791. Check-in: 14:00, check-out: 10:00. Maliba River Lodge offers guests self-catering accommodation in Ts'ehlanyane National Park and is the perfect stay over for budget travellers and tour groups. Each Chalet sleeps 8 people.
    • Ramabanta lodge. On the way to Semonkong — nice lodge, with camping facilities
    • Sani Top Chalet. Located at the top of the Sani pass, popular with South African day-trippers
    • Trading Post Lodge. Small lodge in the university town of Roma
    • In rural areas, Catholic and Protestant missions will often rent rooms to travellers.
