Please review my Muan ariticle

[edit]

Hello,

I have been working on improving the Muan article.

I have now completed my draft and I would like to kindly ask experienced Wikivoyage editors for a final review of the article.

I will do my best to address all comments.

Thank you in advance for your help. —Njkcs888 (talk) 08:20, 28 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Good work! Some minor things:
  • +82 061-450-5481 ~ 3 — could you please clarify this listing for the Museum of Art? Is the 3 part of the number? Or do you have to dial it for a specific service at the museum such as visitor information? Currently, the formatting flag is being listed on this number due to the use of " ~ 3".
  • Some of the listings in "Buy" don't have descriptions.
  • Some of the phone number listings in "Connect" could be improved with descriptions of context. What are those numbers listed for beaches for? Are they emergency numbers or tourist information lines?

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback.
I’ll make the necessary revisions shortly.

I have now completed all the requested revisions, including correcting the phone number formatting, adding missing descriptions in the Buy section, and providing proper context for phone listings in the Connect section. Please feel free to let me know if any further adjustments are needed.

Hi! Thank you for your edits, but as far as I can see, you've deleted the phone listings rather than add information to them. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 22:30, 29 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thank you again for your feedback and for following up.
Initially, I tried to improve the phone listings in the Connect section by clarifying their context, as you suggested. However, another editor later commented that “random listings with no addresses, no information, are useless”, and I realized that having many scattered phone numbers for individual attractions could make the section more cluttered and error-prone.
To avoid low-quality or confusing entries, I decided to simplify the section by keeping only the essential contact numbers, such as the general tourist information hotline, rather than maintaining multiple site-specific phone numbers. My intention was not to ignore your suggestion, but to reduce potential error.
If you think some specific numbers would still be useful to readers when presented in a better way, I would be happy to add them back as more complete listings.
Thank you again for taking the time to review and guide my edits. -Njkcs888 (talk) 07:29, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Njkcs888, Hanyangprofessor2: I have asked you to correct this error three times, but you haven't done so. Why should other editors help you if you won't correct mistakes that we point out? Should I will block you from editing to get you to pay attention? It also looks like you put that listing in the wrong article. Ground Zero (talk) 03:09, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ground Zero,
Thank you for your message. I thought I had corrected all the issues you pointed out, so I’m not sure which error you are referring to. If this is about Seokam Saengsogeumgui, I did update the listing on the Songdo page. I changed the content to: "A Korean barbecue restaurant. The meat is cooked on a hot stone grill and served with kimchi, garlic, and side dishes. Parking available in the basement."
If I still missed something, I’m really sorry — I may have misunderstood your earlier feedback. Could you please let me know specifically what still needs to be fixed? I will correct it immediately.
Thank you again for your guidance, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Here is the edited link.-Njkcs888 (talk) 03:26, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
I wrote on your talk page on 4 November, "As your assignment page says: "Common error to avoid: you should add an address (street, building number, etc.) to your listing but do not repeat the city name. For example, if your listing is in Ansan, the address does not need to contain the city name." That also means you do not include the province and country name. All of the listings in Ansan are going to be in Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea, so we do not repeat that information."
I explained it to you again later that day. And then you made the same error again, and refuse to remove it. If you you don't correct your error the next time you edit in Wikivoyage, I will block you.
And why did you include this listing in Songdo when the restaurant is in Incheon? Ground Zero (talk) 12:57, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
You may be misunderstanding the location of the listing.
Songdo is a district within Incheon, and the restaurant I added is the Seokam Saengsogeumgui Songdo Time Space Branch(“석암생소금구이 송도타임스페이스점”). Even the branch name itself indicates that it is the Songdo Time Space location. The address 158 Harmony-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon is the correct address for the Songdo area.
Therefore, adding this listing to the Songdo article was appropriate.

In that case, the map coordinates are wrong. Seokam Saengsogeumgui Songdo Time Space Branch is number 18 (in orange) on the map, which is not in Songdo. Please check the coordinates. Ground Zero (talk) 13:32, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
I have now updated them so that the marker matches the actual location of Seokam Saengsogeumgui Songdo Time Space Branch on the map.

Thank you. I am going to move a few other businesses that do not appear to be in Songdo to the article's talk page. Ground Zero (talk) 13:49, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Is Honam Aerospace Museum in Muan? It is mentioned in the Get in section, but does not seem to have a listing? Hanyangprofessor2 (talk) 15:01, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yes, the Honam Aerospace Museum is in Muan, and it is already included in the article. You can find it in the See section as the first listing, under the name “Hodam Aerospace Museum". -Njkcs888 (talk) 05:39, 1 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
