Ansan and Songdo

[edit]

@Njkcs888: thank you for the improvements you have made to these articles. As your assignment page says: "Common error to avoid: you should add an address (street, building number, etc.) to your listing but do not repeat the city name. For example, if your listing is in Ansan, the address does not need to contain the city name." That also means you do not include the province and country name. All of the listings in Ansan are going to be in Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea, so we do not repeat that information. Please make these corrections. Thank you. Thank you for your feedback. I will reflect it when making revisions. Njkcs888 (talk) 02:26, 4 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Also, always include the country code in phone numbers (+82 for South Korea) -- see wv:phone. Please make these corrections, including to Muan. Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 02:28, 4 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your feedback, Ground Zero.
I will updated the listings to include the country code (+82) in all phone numbers, including the one for Muan. Njkcs888 (talk) 02:53, 4 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

And will you remove "Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, Republic of Korea" from the addresses? As your assignment page says: "Common error to avoid: you should add an address (street, building number, etc.) to your listing but do not repeat the city name. For example, if your listing is in Ansan, the address does not need to contain the city name." Ground Zero (talk) 03:04, 4 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I will. Thank you for your guidance :)

Please read wv:tout. Wikivoyage is here to provide information for travellers, not to sell them services. Please look at the text that I removed from Muan. It looks like advertising for those businesses. Did you copy this text from another source? Ground Zero (talk) 13:19, 5 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

I understand your concern, and I want to clarify that there was no intention to advertise or promote any businesses. Also all of the text was written by me not copied. My goal was to describe each place informatively for travelers, but I see now that some of my sentences sounded promotional. I’ve reviewed the wv:tout guideline carefully and will revise my edits to keep the tone factual and neutral in future contributions.

Why do you keep making this error? Please stop. Or you will be blocked from editing. Ground Zero (talk) 14:42, 19 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello.
I believe there may be a misunderstanding. The edit you mentioned appears to relate to an earlier issue that I have already corrected, and I have not repeated the same mistake since then.
I will still review my previous edits once more to be certain, but please note that I have not made that error again after your initial feedback. I hope this clears up any confusion.
Thank you for your message. Njkcs888 (talk) 14:48, 19 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
No, the error still appears in the article. Are you expecting soneone else to correct your errors? Wikivoyage does not work that way. Ground Zero (talk) 14:56, 19 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the clarification.
To be clear, I have not made any new edits that repeat the same error after receiving your previous feedback. However, I did not finish correcting all of my earlier edits that still contained the issue.
I will review all of my past edits as quickly as possible and make the necessary corrections within this week. Njkcs888 (talk) 15:05, 19 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
You made the error on November 3. On November 4 I explained to you what was wrong. It is now November 19. You can understand why I came to the conclusion that you were not planning to correct it. Ground Zero (talk) 15:43, 19 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

No reftags or reflist, please

Please read Wikivoyage:External links, and have a look at Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians, so that you understand the differences between the sites better. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:42, 6 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

I wasn’t aware that Wikivoyage’s style differs from Wikipedia in this regard. I will remove the <ref> tags and the “References” section, and move the official link into the listing’s url= field according to the external links policy. I appreciate your guidance and will keep this in mind for my future edits.
