Flights
[edit]An edit was just made by a user without an account (IP address only) adding the following:
There is one weekly flight with the Portuguese airline TAP [1] from Lisbon to São Tomé, but they dont fly themselves. You will actually sit in an extremely old airplane by a Portuguese charter company called White Airways.
After checking out TAP's website for a flight schedule, the site indicates that they operate the flight ("TAP operated flight" when viewing destinations). The website for White Airways (translated from Portuguese) does not have any info, but they only have 2 planes that could operate this route (3 of their planes are "VIP"). Maybe it was just a one-time occurrence that TAP needed a plane for this route and didn't have any available. I'm going to cut out the part about White, because at any rate, booking is through TAP and there is only 1 weekly flight. (WT-en) AHeneen 21:56, 19 January 2012 (EST)
Merge
[edit]Is there any good reason not to merge the São Tomé and Príncipe articles into this one and redirect? They're extremely sparse. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:22, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
- Since the islands are very much off the beaten path and unlikely to attract content in the foreseeable future I have merged for now. I was tempted to merge the town of São_Tomé but apparently this has content that could be migrated from Portuguese WV. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 00:12, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
Currency, time and spelling conventions
