Suggestion: It can be expanded into a "Communication and Connection" section, providing some useful information about mobile network and data services, and recommending the types of mobile data cards suitable for tourists or suggestions for portable Wi-Fi devices to bring. Request: Please review my article
[edit]I am a university student, and as part of a school assignment, my group partner @Mcx8202229 and I are working on a Wikivoyage article about Sanmenxia, China.
We would greatly appreciate your feedback on the article.
Your insights on whether it effectively conveys a clear understanding of Sanmenxia and any suggestions for additional content or improvements would be extremely helpful.

- I like the "Understand" section. One area for improvement I'm seeing is that the map is currently useless, as it shows the entire Earth. Once that problem is solved, districts should be dealt with, in that the districts in the city center are described well, but their locations aren't clearly indicated. A district map or clearer description of where they are and what landmarks are seen there would help visitors know which district they are in. Look for "Orientation" subsections of "Understand" in some star articles or guide articles. Not all articles have or need them, but they can be helpful. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:43, 8 December 2024 (UTC)

- Thanks for improving the map! It needs to be zoomed out a bit less than twice and moved somewhat so that the entire city is shown in the article with a minimum of other areas but without the need to click the map. Do you see what I mean? Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:51, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
- I'd add that one thing I noticed by looking up distances from Sanmenxia to Xi'an and Luoyang is that this city has really big distances between the various districts and counties within it. I think it's important to mention that and give some approximate travel times for trips between these different areas in "Get around". I also think that it is important to indicate in the "Go next" section how great the distances and travel times are between different areas of Sanmenxia and cities that appear to be relatively close to it on the map. Right now, there is a routebox but no 1-liner listings of interesting places to go next or estimated travel times to them. I also see only one travel time estimate in "Get in" - 2-3 hours for a journey by car - but the point of departure is not mentioned. Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:01, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

[edit]I think this Wikivoyage article is very well crafted. Compared to our group's content, the content you produce is richer and more organized. However, I still have a small suggestion, which is that the location of Sanmenxia Airport is not reflected in the map, so I hope to add this location to the map ZHANGQI1066 (talk) 06:29, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
