Tonasket is a city in the North Central Cascades of Washington State.

[edit]Tonasket can be reached either traveling south from the Canadian border at Osoyoos or traveling north from Okanogan.

[edit]- 1 Chopaka Lake, ☏ +1 509-665-2100. A mountain lake covering 150 acres (61 hectares), named after a legendary Okanogan hunter who was transformed to stone by Coyote. Chopaka Lake is a favorite among fly fishers who cast for rainbow trout.
- 2 Sitzmark Ski Area, 1932 Havillah Rd (20 mi (32 km) northeast of Tonasket), [email protected]. A small ski area with 10 named trails covering 80 skiable acres, served by one double chairlift and one rope tow.
