Multiple userpages
[edit]Hello, I deleted the User:(WT-en) MiamiMadness page that you created, because it is considered inappropriate for one user to create another user's userpage. For that matter, it is also inappropriate for one user to create multiple userpages or accounts—the repetition of links on that userpage seems suspicious, and could be taken the wrong way. All that said, thank you for your contributions to the site. Your recent edits to the Chicago articles have been most welcome. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 16:24, 2 March 2009 (EST)
Can you please send me the material for that page so my work is not lost? You may copy it here so I can keep it in my archives. Thanks.
- Just to add, I suspect User:(WT-en) SanFranciscoGirl, User:(WT-en) MiamiMadness, User:(WT-en) ChicagoChica and User:(WT-en) HotelsCombined are all the same entity, while i love that you guys actually contribute - I don't like the covert advertisement concept, are there any reason not just to use the (WT-en) HotelsCombined account, and have things out in the open?`--(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) Talk 17:05, 2 March 2009 (EST)
- To be a little more clear, creating multiple user accounts, as well as multiple user pages, is very much frowned upon. It casts a negative light on your otherwise exemplary contributions to Wikivoyage. I realize that you did not understand this before, but it would be a good idea to now blank the user pages you have created aside from the initial User:(WT-en) HotelsCombined page. On a different note, deletion of others' comments on talk pages is in most cases considered very poor wiki-etiquette, and I would appreciate it if you would restore the lost comments. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 20:21, 2 March 2009 (EST)

[edit]Miami- There's no place where cafe Cubano, (a strong, Cuban coffee shot) meets string bikinis, where fresh seafood dining is often enhanced with tropically dressed dancers, shaking to the sounds of maracas, and where luxury meets beach bum so perfectly.
While visiting this colorful, lively arena, check out Miami's tourist info page for ideas including celebrity spotting, beaches, shopping and events. At the following sites, tourists will find that Miami's Hotels can be searched and compared easily and Miami's restaurants are plentiful and diverse, with everything from fine dining to seaside bars.
So pack your tiniest bathing suit and your most energetic spirit, and get to Miami!
