To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
If you are a Wikipedian, then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:
- NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- be bold → plunge forward
- Village pump → travellers' pub
- External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
- sandbox → graffiti wall
- stub tagging → article status

When creating entries for restaurants, hotels and attractions, we use Wikivoyage:Listings to help them group together.

Fraxinus, thank you for creating this article. It is rare to see a new article that is so well developed and well written.
I have added templates to some the listings. These templates help to organise the information, they put a date on the listing so that readers know how current the information is, and if you add either the coordinates in the "lat" and "long" fields or the Wikidata code, then the listing will appear on the map to help readers find the place.
I found the wikidata codes by going to the Croatian Wikipedia entry for Bjelovar and clocking on the articles for each of the sites.
You can find the templates at the top of your edit screen -- they are the riw of icons at the top -- a building for "See", a cyclist for "Do", a shopping cart for "Buy", etc.

- @Ground Zero Thank you very much for your help and kind words! I have some experience from Wikipedia which helped me. Thank you for adding templates to some the listings and with the other help. On the page Destinations - Browse to a specific destination - I can't find the marker for Bjelovar. Can you please help me with that?--Fraxinus (talk) 21:24, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
